Helen Hammock, 91, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born April 25, 1929 in Three Rivers, Texas to John William Gierth Sr. and Anna Albrecht Gierth.

She was a retired nurse and of the Methodist faith.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, L.D. Hammock; two brothers, John Gierth Jr., and Willard Gierth; and one sister, Dorthy Ann Wilson.

She is survived by her son, John Keith Hammock of Nashville, AR; one brother, Roy Lee Gierth of Prescott, AR; one sister, Joylyn Jane Putz of Hope, AR; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Walk through viewing will be 8:00am to 5:00pm Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Holly Grove Cemetery. Rev. Joe Miller will officiate under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
