Jimmy Lee Easterling, 89, of Hope passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, in Texarkana, TX.

Mr. Easterling was born December 22, 1933, to Fletcher and Inez Jordan Easterling in Patmos, AR. Jimmy was a retired carpenter. He was also a United States Air Force Veteran and loved talking about traveling while serving. He loved his family and grandchildren.

Mr. Easterling is preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Inez Easterling; wife, Wanda Easterling; infant son, infant daughter; Lisa Elaine Easterling; grandson, Luke Easterling; sister, Sue Walker; and brother, Billy Easterling.

Mr. Easterling is survived by two sons, Jon Easterling (Heather) and Jay Easterling (Lyndsi); two brothers, Alvin Easterling (Mickey) and Perry Easterling (Pat); two sisters, Ona Plyler (Harvey) and Judy Micco; 5 grandchildren, Seth Easterling, Aaron Easterling, Grace Easterling, Collin Easterling, and Ryleigh Kretz; and many other friends and family.

Visitation is scheduled 5:00-8:00pm Monday, June 19, 2023 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope.
