Aniell Felipe would get the scoring going early on as he found the back of the net for the first time this season to give the Bobcats the 1-0 lead. The score would stay at 1-0 Hope heading into the half. Sal Sanchez had himself a heck of a second half, as he scored twice, including a banger on a free-kick to give the Bobcats a 2-0 lead. Sal would score his second goal of the game on a nice pass from freshman Carlos Zapata to give Hope a 3-0 lead. The Bobcats would cruise to victory as they stayed unbeaten on the year.Â
It was a game of great team defense and goalkeeping by Jose Bello, as he had a shutout intact until the final two minutes. Alex Brand, Sergio Brand, and Gio Ruiz played great on Friday night as well.Â
The Bobcats are back in action on Tuesday for their conference opener, as they host Mena to begin their quest for a conference championship. Â
