MORE THAN 100 POUNDS OF METHAMPHETAMINE AND 21 POUNDS OF COCAINE DISCOVERED DURING ASP TRAFFIC STOP
March 1, 2024 On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, around 3:30 a.m., an Arkansas State Police (ASP) Trooper pulled over a vehicle near mile-marker 77 on Interstate 40 Eastbound in Pope County.During a search of the vehicle, the Trooper located approximately 120 pounds of methamphetamine, 21 pounds of cocaine, and multiple marijuana vape pens and products.ASP transported the driver of the vehicle to the Pope County Detention Center, where he was charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance with the Purpose to Deliver.
