The Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce will award two $250 scholarships to be used for college tuition, books, or room and board.  The Application deadline is April 8th, 2022. All applications should be returned to your school counselor.

• The applicant must be a Nevada or Prescott High School Senior.

• The applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 to be considered for the scholarship and preference will be given to those with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or better.

• The applicant must plan on attending a 2 or 4 year college or technical school.

• Two letters of recommendation must be submitted with application:
  A.  One from a counselor or teacher from your school.
  B.  One from a person in your community or a church member.

• Applicant must write a paragraph on their career goals.

NOTICE: If you should be awarded this scholarship, your scholarship money will be forwarded to the financial aid office of the school that you will be attending. The Chamber will need a letter from the registration office of the College or University that you will be attending. The letter must state the intent of the student to attend, the status of the student as full time (12 or more hours) and the date of the fall semester. Once we receive the letter, the Chamber will mail a check to the College or University in your name.Deadline for redeeming scholarship is August 31st, 2022.
