Henderson State Wind Ensemble concert November 16

Henderson State University’s Wind Ensemble will present its final performance of the fall semester Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Arkansas Hall.

The program, entitled Winter Dances, includes: Winter Dances by Fergal Carroll; Sanctus by Ola Gjeilo, wind setting by Eric Wilson; Scenes from “The Louvre” by Norman Dello Joio; and Christmas March by Edwin Franko.

The Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Shaun R. Popp, is comprised of the university’s finest wind and percussion musicians, and performs traditional and contemporary wind repertoire.

Admission is free, and the public is invited. Face masks and social distancing are required for all performers and audience members.

Arkansas Hall is located on the Henderson State campus at 12th and Henderson streets.
