Hope Police Department felony arrests April 3-7

On April 3, 2023 at approximately 11:57am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Tomas Hall, 19, of Hope, AR. Mr. Hall was arrested and charged with terroristic act and aggravated assault. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope, AR. Mr. Hall was taken to the  Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On April 4, 2023 at approximately 8:50am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Shaina Hearon, 24, of Hope, AR. Ms. Hearon was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 2nd degree.  The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope, AR. Ms. Hearon was taken to  the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On April 6, 2023 at approximately 10:04pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested JW Johnson, 49, of Hope. Mr. Johnson was arrested and charged with public intoxication, possession of  drug paraphernalia, and fleeting on foot. The arrest occurred in the 200 block of East 16th Street in Hope. Mr. Johnson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On April 7, 2023 at approximately 11:26am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Aanthony Epps, 27, of Texarkana, Arkansas. Mr. Epps was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 3rd degree,  unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of controlled substance methamphetamine, possession of  controlled substance prescription drugs, and served a foreign warrant service. The arrest occurred in the 1400 block of North Spruce Street in Hope. Mr. Epps was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On April 7, 2023 at approximately 3:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Heather Sanford, 31, of Prescott. Ms. Sanford was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance prescription drugs. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of South Elm Street in Hope, AR. Ms. Sanford was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
