Hope's Scout Troop 5 recently went to summer camp at Camp Kinsey south of
Shreveport, Louisiana. The Scouts attended classes which included Archery,
Rifle, Shotgun, Space Exploration and Swimming.
The Scouts wrote and performed two skits for the camp attendees. They made
campfire nachos and two cobblers for a special supper.

D'Aunna Golden was the Troop Senior Patrol Leader and Emma Wright was the
Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. Assistant Scoutmasters were Hunter Mathis,
Brian Matchett, Amanda Greer, Betty Wright, Scotty McCorkle and Ed Flagg.
Scoutmasters were Karen Smith and Lester Sitzes. Betty Wright also served
part of the week as Scoutmaster.
Camp was made possible for the youth from generous donations from Hope Noon
