Hope Track Teams Compete in District Meet in Nashville

Nashville- The Hope Lady Cat and Bobcat Track teams competed very well in the District Meet held in Nashville Tuesday.

Girls Events:

Field Events:

High Jump- Suvari Marshall 7th, Cameron Robinson 8th, Ty’asia Eason 10th

Long Jump- Chaniya Williams 6th, Bethany White 11th

Triple Jump- Bethany White 8th, Chaniya Williams 9th, Alexis McDuffy 18th

Discus- Quan Bradley 14th

Shot Put- Quan Bradley 3rd, Keller Smith 24th, Melissa Martinez 25th

Running Events:

100M- Jaylei Simington 3rd place, Suvari Marshall 7th, Nakiya Prevoe 8th, Saniyah Walker 15th

200M- Nakiya Prevoe 6th, Saniya Walker 8th, Suvari Marshall 12th, Alexis Mcduffy 17th

400M- Saniya Walker 6th, Bethany White 14th

100M Hurdles- Jaylei Simington 3rd place

The Bobcats had multiple athletes qualify for the State Meet in Clarksville scheduled for next Tuesday May 2nd by finishing top 3 in their respective events. Kaleo Anderson, Noah Cheatham, Quan Bradley, and Jaylei Simington.
