Upon arrival, they observed a 2013 Ford Focus straddling the East side of South Elm Street in the center turning lane of West Third. The Second Vehicle, a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe, was sitting on the side of West Third Street.

According to the driver of the second vehicle, he was traveling East on West Third Street when he observed the Ford Focus traveling from the South on South Elm Street. He stated the Ford vehicle did not stop at the traffic light, thus causing him to strike it on the driver’s side door area.

The driver of the Ford Focus had to be extracted from the vehicle by the Hope Fire Department personnel and was attended to by Pafford EMS. The driver of the Tahoe was not injured.
