The Lady Cats had a bit of a slow start offensively Monday night, but erupted for 3 goals in the 2nd half to beat the Lady Badgers 3-0. Another shutout for the Lady Cats, as they keep displaying great team defense. The offense got rolling when Britzi Marrufo set up Mariana Turcios for a nice goal to put the Lady Cats in front. Madelyne Maclaughlin scored the second goal of the match on a nice pass from Miracle Martinez and shortly after that Miracle Martinez scored a goal of her own as Saniyah Walker was credited with the assist. The Lady Cats are trending in the right direction as conference play is scheduled to start Friday night as they host Nashville.
