Ryleigh Marie Kretz is crowned Miss Watermelon Tuesday night at the Klipsch Auditorium in Hope Tuesday night.
The Little Miss and Mister Watermelon pageant took place in the Klipsch Auditorium starting at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday night and crowned eight division winners by the time ceremonies in just under two hours.
The contestants each got their time to be shown (in the case of the small children and infants) to walk, or to sashay across the boards in their best outfits and, for most, makeup to vie before three judges, Susan Elliot, Lisa Paden and Cindy Lance for titles in eight divisions. Master of ceremonies was Megan Lance.
