Three Injured in Friday Night Accident
Friday evening at 6:18 P.M. Hope Central Dispatch notified officers of an accident at the intersection of Bill Clinton Drive and Experiment Road (County Rd. 4). Upon arrival, they located two vehicles in the ditch on the Southwest side of the intersection.

The early preliminary investigation indicates that a Chevrolet Sonic was traveling West on Bill Clinton Drive and was then struck by a Ford Escape traveling South into the intersection from Experiment Road. Both vehicles each had two occupants.

The two occupants of the Ford were transported by ambulance to Wadley Regional Medical Center by Pafford Emergency Medical Services. One occupant of the Chevrolet was transported by Pafford Emergency Medical Services to a Holding Area behind Big Jakes Bar-B-Que to transfer to a Lifenet Air Ambulance. Lifenet transported the patient to a Texarkana hospital. The second occupant of the Chevrolet was uninjured. The Accident investigation was turned over to the Arkansas State Police. The Hope Fire Department was also on scene to provide safety measures if needed.
