Larry Stroud, 73, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

Larry was born on July 4, 1948 to Sam and Gladys Stroud. He retired 27 years National Guard Army and owner Dairy Diner. Larry is preceded in death by his mother and father, a daughter, Stephanie Butler; great-granddaughter, Bentley Rodden; and special companion, Bonnie Leonard.

Larry is survived by Lauri Mathis (Thomas) of Hope; Jami Crow (Jason) of Hot Springs; Samantha Stroud (Tiffany) of Haskell; grandchildren, Steven Rodden (Seslie), Jordan Rodden (Brett) ,Hunter Mathis, Drake Mathis, Abigail Crow, Adyson Crow, Hadley Stroud, great-grandchildren, Noah Rodden, Porter Rodden, Jordan Rodden Jr., Jayda Rodden, Jayden Rodden, Makiah Chambers; 2 brothers, Jerry Stroud (Debbie) and David Stroud (Faye), special friend Kathy Kidd; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of others he loved as his own.

Visitation is scheduled 1:00-2:00pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at Bright Star Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
