Linda Dale Crane

Linda Dale Crane, 74, of Hope, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Linda was born on January 7, 1948 in Minden, Louisiana to Berlin Russell and Viola Marie Casey.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Hope. She was a lifelong devout Arkansas Razorback fan. She lived her life always smiling and never complaining; her phrase for life was “Fine and Dandy” always being her answer for how her day was, even on her worse days. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely, always being sure we knew just how much.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Berlin and Viola Russell; husband, William “Larry” Crane.

She is survived by a daughter, Angie Putman (Chad); two sons, William “Bill” Crane (Kristel), Justin Crane (Emily) all of Hope; eight grandchildren, Wyatt Putman (Kara), Ramsi Rowton (Alex), Garrison Crane, Tyler Crane, Raeli Putman, Lexi Crane, Connor Crane, and Makinlee Crane; and one very special grandson, Raid Rowton.

She also leaves behind five siblings, Reba Morehead (Charles), Charles Russell, Melba Skinner, Tommy Russell (Ada), David Russell (Yvonne). A host of nieces, nephews, and many other family members.

Visitation is scheduled for 1:00-2:00pm on Sunday February 27, 2022 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope, Arkansas. Graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at Anderson Cemetery in Spring Hill, Arkansas Bro. Neal Ridling officiating, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
