Sarah Stephens, 100, formerly of Gurdon, AR passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

Sarah was born on February 9, 1922, in Clark Co, AR to Clarence and Tennie Scott Brown. She was a member of Beech Street Baptist Church of Gurdon.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Tennie Scott Brown; husband, Barney Stephens; and a daughter, Rebecca Phillips.

Sarah is survived by a son, Steve (Janice) Stephens; a daughter, Paulette Perryman; 3 sisters, Ruth Stephens, Jean Bell, Muriel Hasley; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1:00-2:00pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Gurdon, AR and funeral service following at 2:00pm. Graveside service will be at Easley Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Gurdon.
